This icon indicates that the document is viewable & downloadable as a Macromedia® FlashPlayer file which (for most users) requires no extra software installation. The file looks very similar to an Adobe® PDF file. However if you are unable to view the file. You can download the viewer from macromedia.com.
This icon indicates that the document is viewable & downloadable as a Adobe® Reader® (PDF) file. If you do not have a copy of the Reader®, you can download a free version by visiting adobe.com.)
This icon indicates the document is viewable & downloadable as a Microsoft® Word® file.
This icon indicates the document is viewable & downloadable as a Microsoft® Excel® file.
This icon indicates the document is viewable & downloadable as a Microsoft® PowerPoint® presentation file.
This icon indicates the document is viewable & downloadable as an image file (jpg).
This icon indicates the document is a zip file; a compilation of several documents zipped up in one file. (zip).
This icon indicates that the document is located in another part of the library. If you click on this icon it will take you to the actual document (it is a cross-link).
To view a document simply click on one of the available formats. The document will be displayed in a new window. You can easily print the document by clicking on the print icon available in the toolbar of each format.
Note: Zip documents are not viewable until you download the file and unzip it.
Windows: Simply right click on the icon of choice and choose "save target as..." from the drop down menu.
Mac: Simply "control-click" on the icon of choice and choose "download link to disk" from the drop down menu.
