The people you need to communicate your performance measure data findings to are the people with the power to do something about your findings.

How do I Determine my EMSC Performance Measure Target Audience?

For communication to be effective, it needs to be delivered to the right people. Otherwise, why would you need to communicate in the first place? Communicate with the individuals who matter to your cause.

Target Audiences for communicating the findings from the performance measure data will include: (this list is not exhaustive)

    • EMS Director
    • EMSC Advisory Committee
    • EMS Board
    • EMS Agencies
    • Hospitals and their EDs
    • Legislatures
    • General Public

Dissemination Methods

Now that you understand the importance of communicating data and determining your target audience. The next step is to determine which methods you will use to communicate your message to your target audience. This is a critical step that can also make or break the entire communication project.
