National EMSC Data Analysis Resource Center
NEDARC offers a variety of workshops which provide a fun and interactive environment for learning about data-related subjects. Check back often for updates and changes to the schedule.
These workshops are generally designed for grantees of the EMS for Children (EMSC) program, state EMS office personnel, and those involved in pediatric emergency medicine research. Select a workshop listing below to view the details, the agenda, and to see its intended target audience.
If you have any problems with getting state permission or travel approval to attend one of NEDARC's workshops, contact your state representative at NEDARC or the NRC. For a map of your state or territory NEDARC contact representative, click here. *Hint: when submitting for travel approval, have a copy of the grant award, highlighting sections that state that as a condition of the grant, you are required to attend the annual grantee meeting and 1 NEDARC workshop. Also include a copy of the workshop registration page which lists the target audience and description of the workshop.
NOTE: In order to attend a NEDARC workshop you must formally register under one of the topics listed directly below the “Current Workshops”. To register for a workshop, click on the topic you are interested in attending. After you click on the topic, you will be taken to a page that lists the date and location of the workshop and describes the target audience and learning objectives for the workshop. In the upper right hand area of the page there will be a button that will say “Register for Workshop” or it will say “Registration closed. Maximum capacity reached.” If the register button is available, click on it and enter all of the required information. Upon completing the registration you will receive an email registration confirmation.
If the message “Registration closed. Maximum capacity reached.” is listed, follow the directions listed on the page.
Once registered, you will begin receiving emails with instructions and detailed workshop information at least one month prior to the hotel reservation deadline. If you are not registered, you will not receive the emailed registration confirmation or other emails about workshop specifics. If you are not sure whether you are registered for a workshop, please contact Andrea Genovesi or Deborah.norwood@hsc.utah.edu and they will be able to assist you.
If you have any questions about the appropriateness of any of the workshops for your needs, please do not hesitate to contact Andrea Genovesi at (801) 581-7280. For answers to general Frequently Asked Questions about our workshops, click here.
